Parents in Tech Partnership Program

Overview

Partnerships are a way for the Parents in Tech podcast to offer a voice to high-integrity, family-oriented organizations that might not find many avenues to highlight their support for parents in tech. These are organizations that the podcast believes are working towards a conducive, effective environment for parents in tech, and are worth talking about.

Though the Parents in Tech podcast is compensated on some of these partnerships, the selection is not based on an organization's financial willingness to participate, but instead are chosen based on content that our audience would appreciate and find helpful, beyond superficial promotion.

Our Code

  • Selective Partnerships. Parents in Tech was not designed to be a large-scale media business, where volume of sponsorships and partners are incentivised. We recognise that the audience is often the "product" in setups like those, and want to avoid that by being selective on who we take on.
  • Creative Control. Parents in Tech will retain creative control, and even though we work collaboratively with partners to preserve brand voice and uniqueness, we will not censor or sugarcoat content shared by guests. Doing so directly contravenes the spirit behind the podcast.
  • Fixed Pricing. All partnerships will be charged a single flat fee to avoid a situation where commissions and performance-based incentives lead to the 'over-marketing' to the Parents in Tech audience. Our relationship with our listeners is sacred, as each has invested time to engage with our content. We know that they are here to learn, not to get sold to.
